Arjun Kapoor celebrates ten years on film sets: ‘Movies are my life, my passion, my hobby’

Arjun Kapoor has had a ‘decade on film sets’. Over the years, film producers Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor’s son have worked in several films. While making his acting debut in 2012 with the film Ishaqzaade, he initially worked as an associate producer on his father’s productions No Entry and Wanted.

Arjun has been featured in Gunday, 2 States, Finding Fanny, Ki & Ka, Tevar and many more over the years. Arjun Kapoor’s recently released film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar received critical acclaim for his performance. He also appeared in the Netflix movie Sardar Ka Grandson.

On Saturday, when he shared a video celebrating his ten years in the industry, Arjun Kapoor wrote down his feelings which read: “I grew up on movie sets for the past ten years. I think it’s weird that I’m not there. It’s my life, passion and hobby! I would like to make as many movies as possible and keep improving myself by being on the sets. They are the best classrooms. When it comes to movies, I’m like any other kid in a candy store. I’m in awe for what our work can do to engage and entertain people, can’t wait for that to happen again!” The video has the title track of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in the background.

On a personal level, Arjun has been in a steady relationship with actress-model Malaika Arora for quite some time now.

In a recent interview with radio host Sidharth Kannan, when Arjun was asked about the person from whom he cannot hide anything, Arjun said: ‘My girlfriend knows me inside out, even if I hide she can see if something is wrong. She sees it right away.”
