Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut grabbed her Instagram handle and shared a video detailing her experience with Covid-19 and her recovery process. She stressed that Covid-19 gives a false sense of recovery and that those recovering should rest well.
Kangana shared her experience fighting the virus, saying: “I’m here to talk about my experience recovering from the coronavirus. Covid-19 is like ‘sardi-zukaam’ – (cold) as I told you all before, that’s my experience, but while fighting and recovering from Covid many shocking things happened to me, something I’ve never had experienced before. I’ve always seen that when you’re sick, once you start to recover, it’s a never-ending journey forward. But in the case of the coronavirus, it is a false sense of recovery.”
She added: “It wasn’t until after a day or two that I tested negative for corona that I felt I could do everything, such as exercising and shooting with colleagues and talking with friends, like I could do before. But when I stepped outside to do that things to do I started to feel like there was a relapse I was not really well I was bedridden again and at one point I felt like I couldn’t get out of bed My throat was bad again and I felt feverish again.”
The Manikarnika actor added: “This virus is quite unpredictable, because it attacks our body, we don’t know how our body reacts, because it is a genetically modified virus and dampens our natural body reaction. Many people even lose their lives because of it.”
“That’s why it’s very important to fully recover. During the fight against the virus, I spoke to many doctors and realized that you should not underestimate rest during the recovery period. So keep resting and get better,” she concluded.
The Panga actor had tested positive for Covid-19 in May. When diagnosed with Covid-19, she shared that she had quarantined herself, saying that Covid-19 is “nothing but a brief flu that got too much press”. Her post has reportedly been removed by the photo-sharing app for spreading misinformation about the Covid-19 pandemic.
On the work front, the release of Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi has been delayed due to the second wave of Covid-19. In addition to Thalaivi, the actor has Tejas, Dhaakad, Indira Gandhi’s biopic and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in her pussy.
