Loki will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Starring Tom Hiddleston in the lead role, Disney Plus Hotstar series Loki begins streaming June 9 from 12:30 p.m. While the God of Mischief died in the main timeline during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the character was given a new lease of life during Avengers: Endgame when the Avengers visited the Battle of New York timeline where Loki was held captive. The events of this MCU series begin from then on, and the Loki we see here is the one who disappeared with the Tesseract.
In an earlier interview with TV Insider, Tom said, “What’s really interesting is that the public in general has a better perspective on Loki than Loki. Because the public has seen the events of The Dark World and Ragnarok and Infinity War and Endgame, and this is a Loki who doesn’t have that self-awareness. He has not been on this arc of redemption and catharsis, and when he was apprehended by the TVA, he is a very confused and destabilized being. He’s out of his comfort zone, a fish in water, and he’s not happy about that.”
The show also features Owen Wilson as Mobius M Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15.
From what we’ve seen in the promos so far, Loki gets caught by Time Variance Authority, who stops people trying to play with the timelines. Mobius and Loki try to catch the dangerous Variants.

In an earlier interview with Empire, Marvel head Kevin Feige said Disney Plus Hotstar series Loki will have more of an impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe than any of its shows to date. After WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki is the third series to come out of MCU. Feige said: “It’s hugely important. It’ll maybe have more of an impact on the MCU than any of the shows so far. What everyone thought about WandaVision, and was kind of true, and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, which was kind of true , applies even more to Loki.”
