Power Rangers: Dino Fury could become a Netflix exclusive series for season 2, according to a new interview with Chance Perez. The series’ first season arrives on Netflix US on June 15, with the future of the show now aiming to move to Netflix after it originally started on Nickelodeon.

Netflix is already receiving the exclusive drop of 3 episodes (only 8 of which were broadcast on Nickelodeon) out of a total of 11 that are due to come to Netflix in several regions from mid-June 2021.

However, the future beyond these first 11 episodes seems to be entirely on Netflix.

As seen by NickAlive is an interview with Chance Perez who raised a number of topics in an interview with iHeartRadio.

When Perez talks about what’s next for him, he says season one is with Nickelodeon while he is “moving to Netflix for season 2,” adding that episodes will air this year and next (2022).

Based on previous years Netflix released new episodes Power Rangers, that almost certainly means that Netflix will get the second season of Dino Fury in mid-2022, but of course we’ll have to wait for confirmation for that.

We reached out to Netflix about this and heard when we asked if Season 2 would be exclusive to Netflix, where they replied:

“We can confirm that the first half of the first season of DINO FURY will be streamed on Netflix on June 15th so fans can catch up on the show before new episodes return. For the second season we have nothing to announce at the moment. “

Being a Power Rangers fan in the US in 2021 is an especially confusing time. With Dino Fury apparently split between Nickelodeon and Netflix, and with much of the back catalog now unavailable through a streaming service, the franchise is honestly in a mess.

Would you mind if Power Rangers: Dino Fury Season 2 came exclusively to Netflix instead of Nickelodeon? Let us know in the comments.
