Actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will resume filming Tiger 3 at YRF Studios on Thursday. Tiger 3 is the third installment of their blockbuster Tiger franchise.
A source shared details on the latest schedule, saying: “Tiger 3’s new schedule started today at Yash Raj Films Studios. It’s a closely guarded set, and you can’t expect a photo to leak here. The fitness of Salman and Katrina is being tested in this schedule, as well as the extended overseas schedule starting from mid-August.”
The news comes a day after Salman Khan posted a video of his rigorous training session on Instagram. The video had the signature Tiger music playing in the background.
“Salman teased his physique in Tiger 3 on his social media, and it’s clear he’s building the best physique he’s ever shown on screen. Katrina, on the other hand, has remained extremely unobtrusive and has barely revealed how great she currently looks. This also has a reason. She has worked like a beast and people will have to wait to see her forte on screen when Tiger 3 comes out,” the source added.
Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who has helmed such films as Band Baaja Baaraat and Fan. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif started shooting for the actioner in March. However, the shooting had to be stopped when Katrina tested positive for Covid-19. Later, the Tauktae Cyclone further delayed the uptake.
The first film in the franchise, Ek Tha Tiger directed by Kabir Khan, was released in 2012. Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to the spy thriller, was released in 2017.
