Earlier in 2021, Netflix internationally was treated to the majority of seasons of the hit NBC comedy series Hypermarket. The sixth and final season is now complete and will air in the United States, but when season 6 of Hypermarket be on Netflix internationally? We will take a look.

Running since 2015, the NBC comedy is created by Justin Spitzer and stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash and Colton Dunn who all play the roles of employees in a big box store.

The last season of Hypermarket started airing with its last 15 episodes at the end of October 2020 and just ended on NBC on March 25, 2021.

Regions that were processed for seasons 1 through 5 include Netflix Australia, Canada, UK, Sweden, Iceland and South Africa as of January 2021.

Now unfortunately predicting the release schedule for Hypermarket won’t be perfect. Normally, when Netflix licenses NBC, it does so early on, but in this case, all five seasons have arrived at the same time.

However, we can watch NBC’s other prolific show that’s coming to Netflix internationally for advice. In this case, we see new seasons being added every March, which is roughly a year after the season is released and usually just before or right after the news is released.

Our best working theory for most regions is that Hypermarket Season 6 will most likely arrive in January 2022, a year after the license of Seasons 1 through 5.

Fortunately, thanks to an update to the Netflix app, Netflix UK (other regions may vary) we know that season 6 of Hypermarket should arrive on December 15th. We will keep you updated on other regions as we hear from you.

Will Superstore be on Netflix in the US?

If you are from the United States, do not expect Hypermarket be available there. NBC has kept most of its new hits away from Netflix (The right place being the last major title) and instead chooses to put them on Hulu (due to pre-existing contracts) or more likely house now, Peacock.

While Netflix can license it, and there are good reasons for NBC to do so (giving the show a huge boost in popularity), it seems highly unlikely.

Look forward to the final season of Hypermarket be on Netflix internationally where you live? Let us know in the comments.
